Information You Send
A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form is submitted to the provider that supplies that result service. Carlisle Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us directly, we use the contents of your message to answer it.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most hosted pages, the service may receive routine logs such as an IP address, browser information, visited pages, and time of access. We review aggregated patterns for security and maintenance. Cookies or similar tools can support basic measurement and, where used, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
That limited information supports operation, security checks, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or build individual reader profiles.
External Services
Links may lead to Cumberland County or Pennsylvania portals, archival collections, libraries, and sponsored search services. Each outside service controls its own privacy practices. Review its policy before submitting information there.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and technical providers may process the routine logs described above. Analytics or advertising partners can receive the same automatic data. We disclose information when valid legal process requires it and otherwise only as needed to operate the service.
Safeguards
The service uses an encrypted connection and keeps logs only for the purposes described here. There are no visitor accounts, passwords, or personal profiles maintained by Carlisle Residents Directory.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent information, and we will remove it where practicable.
Your Privacy Requests
Depending on your location, you may have rights to ask about personal information a service holds. Because this service keeps very little, a request generally concerns a contact message or limited server data. Send it through the Contact page. Pennsylvania public records held by a state or local custodian are outside our control; the relevant custodian handles a request concerning those records under its applicable law, including the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, Act 3 of 2008.
